Mix an American Pit Bull Terrier with a Catahoula Leopard Dog and you will have a bright, energetic litter of puppies. I reckon folks up north wouldn’t recognize this guy but in the area where Catahoulas reign from, quite a few people would see that hound mixed in with that bull breed.

I rescued a 4 month old female puppy in Seattle that is a close match for the dog in this photo, although her eyes are closer set, and brown spots more prominent which reflects the Catahoula more. She’s a great dog and taking to training well.
I have a pitt/catahoula mix and he is fabulous. He is also ultra high energy and . Mines a pretty mix too with one blue eye.
I have a catahoula/pitt mix, I purposely bred the parents as to make good hunting dogs, I will breed my catahoula pitt to another catahoula female i have of great stock to make the pups 3/4 cat and 1/4 pitt, I am very impressed with the catahoula/pitt so far.
