From Cassarah:
Nightmare is a sweetheart. Nothing like her name. She is half American Staffordshire Terrier and half Bull Mastiff. She was all black when I got her at two months old hence her name being Nightmare. She was the runt of the litter so she is quite small. Nightmare loves to chew on wood and she loves giving kisses. I call her my licky monster. Her birthday is August 15th. She is now two years and four months old. I love her. She is a perfected breed as far as I’m concerned.
Who would have thought of mixing these two. Does mixing the two breeds give a longer life span than the bull mastiff alone?
Mixing breeds in general should be good for health issues. A lot of breeds have health issues due to being bred to some extreme. Some mix breed dogs might get the worst traits from both parents but in most cases traits would be less extreme.
SHES ELEGANT LOOK ABOUT HER GREAT JOB. I WILL LIKE TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE WENT INTO HER UNIQUE BRINDLE?
I had a staff/Mastiff cross for 14 and a half years and can honestly say he was brilliant. I’m heart broken for losing him and don’t know how I’ll ever replace him.
