Australian Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) Chow Chow mix is well behaved, likes to play with kids, very well mannered around food, people and with other dogs around.

Beautiful dog. Looks just like Amigo, the one we had. Our baby died about 2 years ago and we miss him so much. Best dog ever. If you know of any puppies let me know.
I agree, my dog was hit by a car and that was about 16 years ago, I still miss that dog. I loved her so much, she wouldn’t let my husband drive my car without my permission, it was funny.
I agree about the red healer/red chow mix. Best dog and friend. Interested in another one. Mine died about 12 years ago.
We got our red heeler/chow mix puppy on Halloween when she was 5-6 weeks old. Everyone in our house has fallen in love with her already, well, except for our cats, but they’re warming up slowly. Found this page on a search, so glad I did. thank you!
I have a 12-year-old red heeler-chow cross, Baku, and he is the sweetest dog in the world. He’s very laid back and gentle, but can dart across the yard at top speed should a squirrel show up. He will leap over obstacles every now and then, cracks me up at his age. I found him at a shelter after my Jindo disappeared. He was about a year old. Someone evidently hit him in the head before he came to me, and he still drops his head if I make a sudden move with my arms. I have never hit him. I can’t imagine him ever giving anyone a reason to. He also seemed to never have had a puppy-hood, and didn’t know how to play. If I were to toss a stick or a toy, he would just watch me. Love him so very much. Great choice for anyone, single or family.
