Collie Husky German Shepherd Mix

Kadri is a Collie Husky German Shepherd Mix. She is a nice calm good girl, plenty of energy and loves to chew things. She’s just a puppy but so far looks and personality are strongly leaning towards husky.

Kadri loves to be outside running around, so far not much of a digger. Really good with small animals, (Cats, Kittens, Bunnies)  She likes to chase them but will stop if the animal seems too distressed. Couldn’t ask for a cuter, happier, more friendly puppy.

Finley is just a ball of fun. She’s got the goofy and loving nature of a Shiba, and the attentiveness of a Dobie. She loves the bark park, and is always so high energy. We love to cuddle up and take naps too.

Finley was actually taken to the humane society the first time because her first owners thought she was too big for their liking (keep in mind, she is only like 30 lbs). Another family then adopted her, and unfortunately brought her back to the humane society, claiming that she has a wild and hyper personality that they didn’t like. And then she was rescued by my roommate!

Everything that made those other families not like her are exactly WHY i love her! I’ve never had a better, and smarter fur baby.

From Tami: Kiki is a yorkiepoo, Yorkshire Terrier Toy Poodle Mix. She is all about her family yet very independent. She’s 3 years old and weighs in at 9 pounds. She started out with dark colors, black and brown, and gradually went blond/blue as she aged.

Kiki has all the attributes of a yorkie minus the long straight coat. She has a one layer curly coat and does not shed, so we keep her in a puppy cut most of the year. We let it grown during the colder months and have never had a problem with matting.

She loves to run in circles then pass out with you on the couch. She is very smart and a new trick takes a matter of hours. If someone yells “bang” she’ll fall over dead, something my dad taught our springer when I was a kid.

From Sarah: Penny is a very energetic, protective dog and is full of personality. She loves to play fetch and swim. Penny is territorial with her toys and with other dogs during walks. She is friendly in open areas such as a dog beach or park.

As a puppy, she once caught a squirrel about to run up a tree. She held the squirrel in her mouth proudly without injuring it. Penny let it go once I told her to do so. She can jump very high and is a fast runner. She weighs about 50 lbs, sheds a lot and has a beautiful brindle and pointy ears. This girl was rescued as a puppy and we always assumed she was part German Shepherd. I recently sent a DNA test in and it turns out she is mostly Rottweiler, NV Duck Tolling Retriever and Border Collie.

Our sweet Maple was a rescue. We were told she was found as a stray, but given her stellar personality is a bit hard to believe.

She’s managed to charm the pants off of everyone by how affectionate, sweet, and obedient she is. Everyone is her friend, there are no real strangers to her – she’ll approach anyone. She’s curious and playful on top of it all, so there’s never really a dull moment.

My boyfriend and I really lucked out, and we adore our new fur baby. Her papers say Lab mix, but our vet – and others – suspect that there’s a healthy amount of Collie in her heritage. Hence her easygoing nature, and high intelligence. Height-wise she comes to mid calf, and is lean but she’s incredibly strong.
