I LOVE that you posted this. We’re about to adopt a Catahoula/Beagle mix and I was looking for opinions about the mix. I’m even more excited to bring him home now – thank you!

You’re welcome. This site was made for fun but I knew it would have some usefulness. Make sure you come back and add your Catahoula Beagle mix cuz someone else will be wondering and looking!

Just adopted our girl(Audrey) two weeks ago, she is 4 months old and from Nunnelly Tenn. We just love her she is the twin to Muffin. She gets a spooked with loud noises from car, trucks any thing that makes a scraping sound. We live in a suburb of Boston so noise is unavoidable. Any suggestions??? Other than that she is so affectionate and playful.

We have Willie, a beagle-catahoula mix who we adopted from a refuge when he was a year and a half old. He looks like a long-legged beagle with merle spots. He’s eye-catching and makes friends wherever we go, he’s so sweet and gregarious. He’s very loving and affectionate, and a smart dog to boot!

My baby, Muffin, is a catahoula beagle mix. We picked her up at an animal shelter adoption day. Best dog I have ever had! I love labs, have had three of them. However, Muffin is the sweetest dog! She learns fast & has a ton of personality. I got her as a puppy, she will be 9 years old this year!
