Border Collie Labrador Retriever Mix

When I look at this Border Collie Labrador Retriever mix I see how people pull off telling an apartment manager that their Pit Bull is a Lab mix. This Lab mix with his head shape would be mistaken for a Pit or Pit mix. What  a beautiful dog.

  1. […] Genetics don't change because of age. You can absolutely get the test done now, I had the 1.0 version done on my four month and as an almost four year old had it done again with the 2.0 test. Very similar results, it's just one of his main breeds (American Eskimo Dog) came up this time because it wasn't included in the 1.0 test. His other two main breeds (Peke/Beagle) came up again, and all of his "secondary" breeds appeared both times. Very accurate IMO, although there is room for error. In my experience through rescue, a lot of the lab mixes are mislabeled as pits and vice versa. English-style labs tend to have broad heads (which I personally find more attractive) and are overall smaller, more compact, and heavier.
