Doby the Pomeranian Dachshund Mix?

Pomeranian Dachshund Mix

From Diane: Doby is supposed to be a Pomeranian Dachshund mix. He LOVES to play and herd our animals on the farm. We are not sure about the Pomeranian part. Could you help us figure out the other side because we don’t see any Pomeranian in him?

He LOVES snuggling and sometimes when we watch movies. On a rainy day he’s either a couch potato or bouncing off the walls. He’s usually a little hyper bug, as is he’s only 10 weeks old. He love to go camping, because he gets a WHOLE lot of attention. “oh, he’s soo cute!” is a common saying we always here.

He is most definitely a Queensland Blue Heeler Dachshund mix!! Queensland were bread to heard cattle and other animals and even horses which is why when you come home or randomly they nip playfully at your ankles to try and get you to go in the direction they want and play! I have a Queensland/Dachshund that looks exactly like yours except he has a little chiwawa in him so his ears stick straight up and he’s a little prone to having seizures :/ but that only happened once and had no other issues since medication thankfully! Sorry I ramble because of my love for these dogs! Very smart, loyal and love pretty much EVERYONE so they wouldn’t be good guard dogs haha well at least mine tries to give kisses to random people on walks and strangers. I can send you pictures if you would of mine because the resemblance between yours and mine is ridiculous!! bet definitely look up some queensland blue heelers if you don’t and you’ll see that he has their exact markings. Queensland blue and red healers have around 3 to 4 different types of markings. some are completely speckled, some have the markings ours do, some are a mess of two or three gray colors that scraggly cover the whole dog with darker colors on the head or (mostly in red heelers but others too) have short short reddish skin tight almost except neck and a white underside from neck to insides of legs!!! Really great animals. I have had loving dogs before but my queensland is ridiculously attached to me and I’m told stresses out when I’m not home from work at my usual time and he starts pacing back and forth by the door. same thing at night when I’m out late. Email me and I’ll show you that they’re twins except for the ears! haha cmcarroll04@yahoo.com. just put Queensland in the headline and ask any other questing you may have about them.

p.s. sorry about all the rambling on an older question with a bit off topic when a sentence would suffice. I have ADD and adderrall won’t let me stop explaining things haha.
