German Shepherd Rottweiler Golden Labrador Retriever Mix

From Cassi: Wiley is a German Shepherd Rottweiler Golden Labrador Retriever mix and is just over 4 years old. We adopted him at 7 weeks old at a local shelter. Wiley has a very laid back personality, hes a gentle giant. He loves to run and swim, nothing keeps him out of the water except us! He protective of his little sister(Shortee), and will give any dog a nudge if they’re playing to rough with her.

Wiley gives the best greetings when i get home from work. Everyday he’ll rush to meet me at the door with one side of his lip up and tail wagging profusely, he waits till I’ve dropped my bags etc then stands up and gently put his paws on my waist and leans in for his hug. Everyone who’s seen him do it laughs and wants a hug too. Wiley is an incredible dog with so much love.

OMG!! Your dog Wiley is a splitting image of my dog Layla and is about the same age. If you live in NJ they may very well be brother and sister. Up until now my girl and I thought our dog to be Sheperd, Lab, retriever but now we know there is rotty in there too. AWESOME!

Same with me! My dog Lexi was found when she was a couple hours old tied up with her siblings in a garbage bag, tossed into a ditch. Someone walking by heard the whimpering noises and rescued them. One puppy was already dead from dehydration and heat, and another died a few hours later. But 4 of them survived – 2 were black dogs, the other 2 were golden. I always suspected she may have some rottie in her… She’s a goofy gronk of a dog – she looks EXACTLY like Wiley. Too funny.
