Gus the Corgi Wheaten Terrier Mix

Corgi Wheaten Terrier Mix

Wheaten Terrier Corgi Mix

From Reni:Gus is a 25 lb Wheaton terrier and corgi cross, possibly some other mix in as well.  We brought him home after watching him with his mother and sibling for 2 weeks. His mother was a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and dad Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier mix.

This guy bonded with our family, in particularly me, as soon as he arrived. Gus is very affectionate, can be a little shy but will play till he drops once he is familiar with you or other dogs.

Great guy, would try and find similar mix if we ever get another dog.

What an adorable combination. I know that Wheaton Terriers have a coat that must be brushed a lot and Corgis shed tons.

Do you have to take Gus to the grooming salon for trims? What about daily brushing?

He does need a lot of combing and washing. 5km walk every day in forest. Loves to get wet and dirty. He is worth the effort, everyone who meets and knows Gus loves him. He is not a huge shedder.

So is Gus up for adoption? I have not visited this site before. I am looking for a Wheatin Mix. I had to say goodbye to my 17 year old dog in early December, who I believe was part Wheaten and looked a lot like Gus. How old is he and where is he located?
