Rottweiler Shar-Pei Mix

From Denise: Oso is a 90 pound, 4 1/2 year old, fun loving, happy dog. He is a Rottie-Pei bred with typical tan spots above the eyes, tan leg markings, tuxedo white chest and deep flews in his mouth. He was given to his first owner as a Christmas present and has come to our family now. He loves to play with other dogs and is extremely tolerant of dogs with a “big dog” personality. His markings and ever shinny coat with wire-like hair have cause folks to stop traffic or stop walking to find out more about his bred. He is a perfect, loyal dog who comes when called (even when chasing rabbits) and “herds” us away from danger when it is sensed. He waits patiently for us to return home each day to play ball with him or take him for a walk/run. We love Oso and we are thankful that he has become one our family. (We’ve never owned a dog before this!!)8/2013

Oso looks the rottie-pei you have up on your website. I put a picture of our love-bug Oso on my Facebook page!

  1. Denise says:

Oso Panda-Z turned 6 on Christmas; He’s strong and muscular at 85 pounds. Contrary to myths, my Oso remains sweet and non-aggressive from puppyhood. True to his Rottweiler heritage, he still loves a job to do and energetic activities like “herding” squirrels and rabbits. Oso’s Sharpei traits are only visual ones and his bee-sting nose make him ever “O-so lovely!”
